Dr. Tommy built his career navigating America’s healthcare upheaval, and early on realized that the real obstacle wasn’t policy but a glaring data gap in the federal marketplace, recognizing that harnessing those federal healthcare data insights could save billions in clinical operations. Combining ex–special forces discipline, medical-sales prowess, tech-focused scholarship, and legislative know-how, he founded GovSpeak to give med-tech and device companies the actionable federal data they’d been missing.
At GovSpeak, he unifies intelligence from IDNs, life-science firms, payers, the DoD, the VA and ONC, so innovators don’t flail through Washington blind.
Dr. Tommy holds a Doctorate in Health Administration (MUSC), an MBA (South University) and a BS in kinesiology (Georgia Southern). He teaches Policy, Planning, and Trends in Healthcare and Applications of Telehealth at Georgia State, sits on its Health Informatics advisory board, and is rewriting the playbook for federal healthcare innovation.
